Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s wedding ceremony has reportedly begun as the couple will tie the knot today in Rajasthan. ETimes was the first to inform you about their Roka ceremony earlier this year, followed by a royal wedding in December.

Before the D-Day today, the couple held a fun sangeet night where guests witnessed fun performances and a cake cutting session, reportedly, According to a report of Pinkvilla, apart from the couple, the star of the show was a dreamy 5-tier cake that grabbed everyone’s attention.

Especially curated by a Delhi-based patissier, the cake was adorned fully with berries that costed the couple about 4.5 lakhs, as per sources. It’s believed that the cake was created at the wedding venue, Six Senses Fort Banwara and was brought out during the Sangeet ceremony.

Meanwhile, a while ago a source has exclusively informed ETimes that Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Sehra Bandi’ ritual has started. This ceremony involves the groom’s paghadi being adorned with a ‘Sehra’ by his sister or sister-in-law. Post this ceremony the Baaraat will make its way to the wedding mandap.

Our ETimes photogs got the exclusive first photos of the guests arriving for the grand festivities. To keep up with the royal wedding theme, large curtains were raised across the fort’s grand archway.

The couple will wed in a Punjabi-style wedding and will take the pheras in a glass mandap constructed in the fort premises. Keeping up with the floral theme, the venue will be decorated with rustic floral elements.
